![]() I just wanted to mention that track faders can now do MIDI CC7 and CC 10, because nobody ever seems to talk about it. Or record/draw the CC7 automation into MIDI items. Or of course you could insert an instance of ReaControlMIDI on each of the MIDI tracks and automate it's CC7 slider. Now the track volume faders send MIDI CC 7 and you could automate them. You'd need to do that for each of the MIDI channels you want to control in Omnisphere. Using the example routing in your picture, you'd need to rightclick on the midi tracks (one by one) and go "MIDI track controls" -> "Link track volume/pan to MIDI channel:" and choose the appropriate channel from the list. It's a bit more involved to set up, though. If you still preferred to use MIDI volume curves (say, if it weren't possible to automate those sliders with anything but MIDI CC 7 or whatever), you could use the track volume fader automation as well. Just for completion and to plug a new feature in v4 which isn't talked so much about for some reason: Im attaching the empty multi track template ( without the omnisphere inside)you can add the omnisphere or any of the multitimbral vsti Right click to track window go to Midi Track controls / link track volume-pan to midi channel (select1)Ĭlick to track's I-O in the popup window see the omnisphere sends parameter and activate-click ( if it wasnt already) the little midi symbol.same procedure do for every midi track Route to standart midi path = All ( pass thru) Tnis one seems abit tricky and needs the "MIDItoReaControlPath" pluginīut you can control omnisphere sliders with normal reaper volume pan track slider. Now i discover one more way that i never aware about it Īnd for each ReaControl Midi enable the Control Change section and move the first slider(Volume) and click to the parameter again and select the show in track control this will add a knob instead of envelope line to your tracks Second way that i can suggest you can add ReaControl Midi to your 8 midi tracks that you routed to the omnisphere's 8 channelĪnd in the reacontrol midi set Midi channels in tracks order 1 for 1, 2 for 2. Move the volume slider in the omnisphere's multi page and click to the "parameter" on the top-right and select the Show Track Envelope.Do this for every channel slider ![]() There is more than one way to doing this but i suggest
